On November 10th, before Veterans Day, Governor Maura Healey of Massachusetts, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, Secretary of the Massachusetts Veterans Affairs Department Jon Santiago, Mayor Charles Kokoros of Braintree, Senator John Keenan and Senator Timilty Walter of Massachusetts held a press conference at the Veterans Service Center in Braintree, Massachusetts, to announce the submission of a bill in support of Massachusetts veterans. This marked the first time in 20 years that a Massachusetts governor specifically proposed a bill dedicated to veterans' benefits. Chairman Frank Poon and Vice Chairman Gary Yu of the CEA (Commonwealth Alliance for Education) were invited to participate in the press conference and exchanged views with Massachusetts government officials regarding the services provided by CEA in the community and its achievements since its establishment, receiving unanimous praise.
