Connecting the community, one program at a time
At CEA, we are dedicated to fostering voter education and promoting civic engagement within our community. In response to the diverse needs of our residents, we have expanded our services to support the overall well-being of community members of all ages. Our slogan, "Connecting the Community," reflects our commitment to building solid and inclusive connections.
Project Focus and Objectives
Problem gambling awareness
Raise public awareness, provide intermediary support to people affected by gambling addiction, and express the harms of gambling through popular songs that reach people's hearts.
Mental health advancement
Provide certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to equip community members with basic, practical skills.
Civic participation
Encourage minority voters to participate in voting and recognize the rights and importance of the ballot.
Leadership development
Foster community creativity and leadership by engaging young people, retirees, and volunteers.
Vulnerable group encouragement
Provide people who are mentally challenged or disabled with opportunities to perform and participate, encouraging social integration.

Outreach that meets the community where it gathers
In conjunction with holiday celebrations, we create meaningful opportunities and invite community members facing spiritual, intellectual, and physical challenges to express their talents, step outside their personal circles, and take part in community life. A barbecue reunion at the Civic Education Alliance parking lot brings neighbors together each year.

We provide a center for resources and social contact based at the CEA office. Our services include:
Community service assistance
Basic English class
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, referral, and support
Regular support groups and entertainment, such as dance and singing practice
Thematic sharing and networking gatherings to strengthen community connections
Rental of the activity room for small celebrations and birthday parties
