Civic Education Alliance (CEA) with have two class for Leadership Development Program – Public Speaking Training. It is a 2 hours session on 3 Saturday training.

Day one

What is public speaking?

How does it benefit you? Job interview, promotion, selling products/services, workshop, seminars, fund raising, advocating, etc.

About Yourself

What type of person/personality you are? Strong, convincing, story teller, persuaded, commanding, sympathy, news reporter, etc.

What do you want to deliver?

The target audience

What kind of audience? Age group, educational background, languages, etc.

Printed materials

Slideshows, sound effect, guests, etc.

How to sell yourself. Introduction of yourself

Team Work: team development: Emcees, research team, speaker. (3 people or more per team)

Prepare for unexpected – Q&A

Emcee – Thank you to audience, organizers, special note/reminder, Introduce speaker.

Speaker – Welcome everyone, about yourself, main speech.
